What is PMI-ACP® Certification Versus Scrum Master?

PMI-ACP Certification stands for PMI Agile Certified Practitioner. You are above Scrum Master as a Scrum Master is just an Agile PM. The Agile Certified Practitioner thoroughly understands all industry best practices for agile, all accepted methodologies besides Scrum, and all roles, such as Developer, Agile PM or Product Owner. Besides, it is a certification of the PMI organization and has the same elevated standing of the PMP Certification, PMI-PBA Certification, PgMP Certification and so forth.

What if I don't have any Agile Experience but I have project management experience?

Come to class to learn and gain a certificate of training in PMI-ACP knowledge or come to class to take the PMI-ACP Exam. Either way, it's fine with us. However, if you are taking the PMI-ACP Exam, you will need to qualify.

If you don't understand whether you have enough agile team experience, then send your resume to neredahque@smartpathllc.com for review.

PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, PMI-PBA, and PMI are the registered marks of the Project Management Institute, Inc.
